Hope in Motion: Celebrating 10 Years of Safety Compass

“A Decade of Navigational Support for Survivors of Human Trafficking on the Path to Healing and Justice."

In just one week, our advocates served 84 survivors.

For a decade, we’ve walked alongside survivors, trained communities, built partnerships, and worked toward a future free from violence and exploitation. What began as a vision has grown into a movement powered by advocates, supporters, partners, and survivors themselves.

The need for this work remains urgent.

As we celebrate this milestone year, we’re reflecting on the impact we’ve created together and looking ahead to the work still to come.

Here’s a glimpse of the touchpoints Safety Compass has had in our community so far this year:

2026 Oregon Child Abuse & Human Trafficking Summit

Bringing Hundreds Together for Change: 500+ attendees | 50+ classes | 72+ speakers

Centering the voices of lived experience & professionals working in the fields addressing child abuse, human trafficking, and interpersonal violence, the OCAHT Summit reflected exactly what Safety Compass has worked to build over the last decade: collaboration, education, survivor-centered advocacy, and collective action.

Made possible by the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office, the Clackamas County Children’s Center, and Safety Compass, the 2026 OCAHT Summit brought internationally recognized experts together to provide law enforcement, ODHS Child Welfare, juvenile justice workers, prosecutors, advocates, and service providers throughout the state with the highest levels of continuing education.
